I know that Soft Landing sells these bottles, so I’m kind of on the fence. I really trust Soft Landing, but had not heard about the lead deal. I’ll have to look into it.

that’s very discouraging… especially since they are selling childrens good as a parent, we check as many details and facts as we can, but at a certain point we have to take a leap of faith and hope that the company is doing the right thing.

I just read something on an amazon review about crocodile creek. it says that the bottles are lead safe NOT lead FREE and that the exterior paid has lead in them. I can’t confirm that the paint has lead in them but I do notice on their website that its says “lead safe” and not “lead free.

Oh and also since I didn’t answer your other question – yeah, there are lots of BPA-free coffee mugs. I’ve gone through a lot (coffee addict). I’ll post about that at some point. Nothing freaks me out like seeing Portland natives with toss away cups… Really?
