We just looked at ten fab BPA-free reusable water bottles for adults but kids have different needs. Reusable water bottles for kids need to be absolutely chemical and BPA-free, easy to hold, unbreakable, light-weight, not too large (unless you’ve got my kid – the living H2O fountain), have the proper fluid flow and most of all a child’s reusable water bottle should be a little fun. Reusable water bottles are a great starting point with regards to green living for kids and the more fun the bottle the more inclined they’ll be to use it regularly and happily.
NOTE: I tried to share options for very little ones (such as sippy style bottles) and some for older kids as well. Also, while I did post one or two Tritan bottles for adults, I suggest you skip Tritan material when buying for kids. Kids have developing bodies, and while Tritan is BPA-free, until Tritan bottle manufacturers decide to be completely forthcoming about all chemicals, I personally wouldn’t chance a Tritan bottle for a child.
Following are ten safe, non-toxic reusable water bottle options for the younger set…
