Plan Toys has a really neat new game available – Eco Recycling Game
Totally cute right!? This wooden recycling game set includes a dice, a canvas game mat, 4 recycled bins, 4 figures, and 16 pieces of recyclable waste tokens. To win the game you’ve just got to be the person with no recycling tokens left. Like all Plan Toys, this game is made with earth friendly materials; natural, chemical free recycled rubberwood and finished with non-toxic water based dye.
Learning perks:
- Teaches children how to save natural resources and energy by recycling instead of tossing dangerous materials into landfills and incinerators.
- Teaches the value of recycling.
- Helps kids think about where materials can end up and develop a sense of responsibility for recycling.
- Helps to develop a child’s mental thinking about mathematics which involves learning about size, color, shapes, balance, number, classify, symmetry, counting, and etc.
I’d keep this game away from very young kids due to small parts, but for older tots (4+) it looks great!
