Natural Hardwood Ramp Blocks ‘Wedges’ for Eco-Friendly Toy Cars

by Jennifer Chait on August 3, 2010

As the eco-minded mama of a little boy, you know what’s annoying? All those plastic pieces of car tracks and ramps around the house! Five years ago when my son was still REALLY into hot wheels it was hard to find anything but plastic ramps. Sure, we’d make homemade ramps with recycled goods, but a wooden store-bought option would have been nice too.

Now, look at this…

Natural wooden car ramp

How awesome are these?! This beautiful set of natural wooden ramp blocks are perfect for a little boy or girl obsessed with toy cars. Your little one can make cool towers and ramps for their Hot Wheels or eco-friendly toy cars. These also make a nice addition to any standard wooden block set.

The set includes 8 wedges made from Maple and Padouk in their natural state. The blocks are cut and hand sanded, then sealed with pure walnut oil. Each block has ‘wedges’ stamped into the side which gives each block a nice industrial sort of look.

If you’re looking for a good alternative to Hot Wheels as well…
