Artterro is a small, sustainable business making wonderful eco-friendly art kits for kids and right now they’re looking for help to take their business to the next success level.
The Basics:
Artterro is participating in Kickstarter in order to raise $30,000 (or more) to help them fund their next production run at the non-profit Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee, WI, where their art kits are assembled by people with special needs.
How Kickstarter works is a company or individual can ask for pledges. If the company reaches their pledge amount by the date they specify, they actually earn the money. If they don’t reach their pledge amount, they don’t get the money people have pledged. For example, right now, 57 folks have pledged $3,345 to Artterro. These folks will only be charged, and Artterro will only earn the money IF people pledge the entire $30,000 by Earth Day 2012.
Why pledge money to Artterro?
I know, times are tight, so pledging money to a company may not be something you’re interested in. However, there are plenty of great reasons why you might want to help this company grow.
You’ll get cool rewards: If you pledge $29 or more you get an awesome Creativity Art Kit and Art Journal Kit ($40 value). If you pledge $99 or more you get a Creativity Kit, Bookmaking Kit, Wire & Bead Kit, and an Art Journal Kit ($84 value).
