Artterro is a small, sustainable business making wonderful eco-friendly art kits for kids and right now they’re looking for help to take their business to the next success level.
Artterro is participating in Kickstarter in order to raise $30,000 (or more) to help them fund their next production run at the non-profit Goodwill Industries in Milwaukee, WI, where their art kits are assembled by people with special needs.
How Kickstarter works is a company or individual can ask for pledges. If the company reaches their pledge amount by the date they specify, they actually earn the money. If they don’t reach their pledge amount, they don’t get the money people have pledged. For example, right now, 57 folks have pledged $3,345 to Artterro. These folks will only be charged, and Artterro will only earn the money IF people pledge the entire $30,000 by Earth Day 2012.
Why pledge money to Artterro?
I know, times are tight, so pledging money to a company may not be something you’re interested in. However, there are plenty of great reasons why you might want to help this company grow.
You’ll get cool rewards: If you pledge $29 or more you get an awesome Creativity Art Kit and Art Journal Kit ($40 value). If you pledge $99 or more you get a Creativity Kit, Bookmaking Kit, Wire & Bead Kit, and an Art Journal Kit ($84 value). The rewards just keep growing the more you pledge, all the way up to an Artterro Art Party at YOUR house. Basically, in this case, your pledges earn you art goodies at a much lower price then you’d pay retail. (See the gallery below of all the cool art kit rewards you can score).
Artterro is an awesome company for green families: As a little disclaimer, you may have noticed that Artterro is a Growing a Green Family sponsor – BUT as you also may know, I’m hyper picky about green companies. I’m picky about sponsors I allow on this blog and I’m picky about products I review. During reviews, Artterro products always score high here, as they fit with most of my green criteria. In fact, Artterro scored a perfect 5 out of 5 for company perks, and that’s incredibly rare around here – read my Artterro company review.
You should also know that not only does this company make wonderful, green, imaginative art kits for kids, but that this is one of the only AFFORDABLE green art companies out there for kids. Most green art companies charge an arm and a leg for their goods, but Artterro makes eco-friendly art kits that any green family can afford, without compromising on quality.
My family loves their art kits and their ethics, and this is one of the few green kid companies I’m comfortable calling both “eco-friendly” and “affordable.” To learn more about Artterro’s products, check out my reviews below…
To help keep this company growing strong, why not make a pledge today at Kickstarter, thus ensuring all kids have access to creative, eco-friendly and affordable art.
